The Women’s 9 and 18 hole league gives the women of Ridge Country Club a great way to compete and make new friends on the course. Each week is a different type of golf game or event. Members are able to sign up through ForeTees. The pro shop staff will set the tee times and the groups each week. After golf the women are invited to enjoy lunch in the clubhouse or on the patio.

Hit, Chip & Sip
This women’s league meets on Wednesday evenings starting at 5 p.m. This is for the new golfer or golfer looking to hone in on skills and meet other members in a social environment. The league offers a 1-hour instructional lesson followed by the opportunity to play 3-9 holes with other women. After golf commences you are invited to dine together as a league.
The PGA Jr League is a golf program for juniors, ages 13 and under. This program is a great way for juniors to learn the game of golf, meet new friends, compete against other juniors, and most importantly have a fun golf experience.

Our winter programs are a great way to keep on swinging through the cold Chicago months. The Ridge Country Club performance studio offers private lessons, practice sessions, and virtual golf. The lessons include instruction, swing mechanics, video analysis and Trackman data.  The practice sessions include Trackman combines and real life data.  Virtual golf includes Trackman leagues and/or  the option to rent the Ridge performance studio to play championship courses with friends. The simulator has very realistic graphics to challenge your golf ability.

Ridge Country Club has a storied caddie program which dates back to the 1920’s. Ridge Country Club caddies pride themselves on being prepared and versed in the game of golf, as well as treating golfers with the utmost respect. The Evans Scholars Foundation has partnered with Ridge Country Club, with the goal of providing scholarship grants to the caddies that excel on the golf course as well as academically. To learn more about the Evans Scholars Foundation and the Western Golf Association, please visit the WGA website: www.westerngolfassociation.com.
While golfing, if you choose to walk you must use a caddie when one is available. All cart foursomes are required to take a fore caddie if one is available. Caddies will present you with a card at the end of each round. This card includes a line for a tip and has an evaluation section on the reverse side. This evaluation is important for the improvement of the caddies in our program.

Applications for new caddies will be online from February 15 to the close of business on March 15. New caddies must be aged 13-16 as of May 1, 2024. No applications will be accepted after March 15.
